Who's This Guy

Hello, I'm Scott. Let's Get Acquainted.....

I have been riding all sorts of two, three and four wheeled sports vehicles since I was just a young'n. I grew up surrounded by family and friends who all loved the power-sports side of life so I guess you could say I followed suit. Dad was an amateur drag racer in his youth, my younger brother is a consumate snowmobiler and my uncle had a super-super fast speed boat, so obviously, the need for speed is in the blood.

I can fondly remember some great times at the family's cabin in New Mexico and the fun times taking the Four-Wheelers way back into the deep woods spending my days having a blast forging the vast terrain. What great memories.

The Motorcycle!
At an early age, I always had a fondness for motorcycles as you can see by the 'great underwear madness' picture above (yes, I was actually driving it). I always knew that super fast motorcycles would be on my agenda.

My passion for motorcycles only seemed to grow exponentially through the years. So once I was stable enough financially, I took the leap and purchased my beloved rocket, a 2006 Suzuki Hayabusa GSXR-1300cc. To give you a bit of insight to the allure of this two-wheeled beast; the motorcycle is well-known in the industry as THE fastest production motorcycle ever produced. In fact, the motorcycle is bread straight from the realm of drag racing so you know it can burn serious rubber. And yes, I have taking it to some unreal speeds (of which I won't disclose here in cyber-public). Coupled with its outrageous speed, I love taking it to some far away places in the U.S. I wake each morning thinking to myself, "where can I take a ride to today?". My ultimate goal is to travel the world by motorcycle and experience all this big blue globe, or as stated by the fella's from RUSH (the Lake Between the Sun and the MOON), has to offer.

Blogging!
I'm not a professional writer, not even an amateur one. I'm just an average guy who loves to explore the world around him on two wheels and wants to help others experience a little of the same joys, if only vicariously. The idea of a blog is not necessarily a new one to me, but after a number of very enjoyable trips I took in 2009, I thought it would be great fun to write about my experiences. The places I have visited and hope to visit are not necessarily new to the seasoned traveller, but I hope to bring a unique perspective to the destinations since I will be travelling by motorcycle.

So the blog is born!
Please join me on my quest to discover this amazing planet two wheels a roll'n.
